Book I: The Spine
Asha and Druj. Book I of the Foundation of Asha's Codex, The Library That Does Not Burn. The master distinction and the one move run in seven domains; how to read everything that follows.
Read Book I in full at foundationofasha.com → These lines are its claims, one sentence each; the argument behind each one is there.
-
1One distinction runs the entire Foundation of Asha: Asha vs. Druj, the Real vs. the Costume, and every division of the corpus is that one distinction run in a different domain.
-
2Druj is not a false sentence but a cosmic principle: the costume worn in place of the thing, and it wins by default whenever the true thing is said and then forgotten.
-
3Asha and the Vedic ṛta are cognate, the truth-as-right-order concept is genuinely ancient Indo-Iranian bedrock, whatever the contested date of Zarathustra.
-
4The Foundation's name and frame were recovered from the source corpus, not invented for branding, the corpus was already wielding Asha and Druj as live diagnostic categories.
-
5The genealogy of Persian influence is hedged; the allegiance to Truth-against-the-Lie is not, hedge the genealogy, never the allegiance.
-
6The master move of the whole corpus is one act: strip the costume and see whether there is a body underneath, and its founding instruction is "you're quoting the subtitles, not the source code.".
-
7Literalism is not proximity to the source but the most complete capture by the subtitle, the gap between text and conclusion is invisible to the one who stepped over it.
-
8Seven domains, one knife: religion, faith, the self, knowing, suffering, salvation, and mercy are each the same gap, between what a thing claims to be and what it is.
-
9The participation/identity fork is the second axis of the comparative map.
-
10One act runs at three scales.
-
11Diagnose, don't argue: the method names what a person is doing with a point rather than arguing the point.
-
12A diagnosis is not an ad hominem: it is a falsifiable reading of why no argument is occurring, bound by guardrails that must cost the diagnoser something.
-
13One model maps all of history.
-
14Every major rival holds one province of this map, Peterson the psychology, Ehrman the receipts, Pageau the symbol, Dawkins the debunk, and the map contains and extends them all.
-
15The overwrite is live: AI is the newest principality, writing the costume directly onto cognition.
-
16The framework is a hermeneutic, not a metaphysics.
-
17The suspicion of costumes can itself become a costume, and the framework survives its own test only because the knife demonstrably turned on its own wielder, in the record, at his own expense.
-
18The Foundation exists to recover the truth buried in human conversation and rebuild the Library of Alexandria.
Add a claim
Anyone may add. Nobody may edit somebody else's line: if you think it is wrong, fight it. Keep it to one proposition, because that exact sentence becomes the motion when somebody disputes it.
Opening a war costs 25 gold and wins 50. You pick the arms: argue it in the Academy, or settle it at a game. Losing burns the deposit, which is why the button is not free. Whoever defends the line is paid by whichever engine judged them, and the house takes the podium if nobody else does, so no claim goes undefended. "Argue it now" is the free door: the line becomes the motion of a judged duel against the house, with no account and no gold, and the page keeps no record of it.
